Hi Everybody!
Welcome to EARTH DAY, special edition!
Today is EARTH DAY, April 22, 2012. I wanted to come to our little Nature Class here on Blogger to be with You to Honor Our Earth Today. I am going to spend the day transplanting flowers from one place to another! Digging in the dirt of Earth, my favorite thing to do! We spend most of our time either walking, sitting, sleeping or driving on the Earth. What have You done for Your Earth lately? Today is the day to bring your thoughts home to the Earth. What one little thing can you commit to do for your Earth?
You could plant a tree! We need so many more trees to replace the ones cut down. The trees make the oxygen we breathe! You could plant seeds or seedlings of fruit and vegetables! We need so much food so there are no more hungry people. You could plant a pot of flowers even if you have no ground! They attract the birds and butterflies to come to your place. You could make a promise to the birds and bees that You Will Totally Stop Using Pesticides!! We are poisoning the Earth and Ourselves with chemicals. You could agree to being more thoughtful and caring about the Earth! If we destroy our Home, we will have no Home. We could all just do something a little different in regard to the Earth. I encourage You to think about it.
To celebrate I bring You the Nature of Earth in this great first video.
Next video, we cruise around in Space viewing the Earth!
The last video on the page is from NASA,. a full feature (40 minute)video titled: NASA Imax film: The Blue Planet.

Happy Earth Day!
I had a quick look at the videos. It's terrifying to look at the Earth from the space.
