Hi Everybody!!
What's Up? I went walking in the woods yesterday afternoon looking for some birds-I got nothing. Up until this Fall, I just opened my door and there were hundreds of singing birds everywhere. Now, just silence and a few squirrels. I am mad and so sad, but nothing brings them back. I am more upset that People do not even notice the birds are really missing. I must find out what took out the birds and bees as it is only a matter of time until it takes me out, too.
So, what is a bird sanctuary without birds? Nothing, absolutely nothing.
My job on Earth of taking care of the little birds and teaching about them appears to be over. Fired by God.
Oh well, it did not pay anything anyway. In accepting this great sadness, I try to look for the positive side of things. Yes, all my colorful songbirds are gone. The positive is: I have hundreds of huge Buzzards. There is a God and He has a great sense of Humor sometimes in sad and troubled times!!!!!
I love my buzzards, but I might be the only one in the world to love them. You must admit my Garden of Eden with hundreds of singing birds paints quite a different picture than the one now of hundreds of buzzards hanging out in dead trees surrounding my former Garden of Eden. Someone told me the Vultures are messengers from God. Dear Lord: I get the message!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight's photostudy is of (guess who) the buzzards flying home to the sun tree in the afternoon. They appear to be statues in dead trees, motionless. In fact they are moving around all the time. The movements are all coordinated with lights and shadows. I made You an uplifting video below of the buzzes flying in to the tree.
(Now, give me a break, buzzards are all that I have to share right now!!!!)
In an attempt not to loose all of my friends, I am also bringing You beautiful bird vids on the internet (You Tube) and some Google Index Information that will lead You to more Bird Knowledge!
Enjoy!

There are few birds whose vocalizations are as comical as those of the Willow Ptarmigan. The Lab's Charles Eldermire describes the experience of hearing this arctic grouse first hand.
