September 12 turned out to be the best day yet for shooting the birds! (With the camera). Anyway, this day was sunny and lower humidity than usual. More birds came in this morning. They travel in small groups down the creek to get here. I have learned by now that I can only shoot the birds while they are here. Soon, they will be gone. If a great photo op day occurs, I take advantage of it! You may think it is easy to sit and shoot the birds. The most difficult aspect for me is the heat which is still in the 90s. You will notice all the things that affect the images from day to day as: the heat, high humidity, the moving shade of all the trees, the position of the sun, the time of day, the cloud cover, the movement of the birds, the number of bees and the number of birds just to name a few. I have 20 feeders hanging around the grounds, so I move around where the birds are. I have not seen any banded birds. I hope displaying the photos of the different birds will help people identify the differences among them. (It would be great if someone made a bird recognition computer program to identify photos of the same bird!)
