HAPPY DECEMBER!! (PARTLY CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF BUZZARDS PHOTO BLOG)

Hi Everybody!!
December sneaked in this year among the clouds that came and went all day. Some of the clouds looked as if they could rain, but never did. Sometimes the visiting buzzards seem to get playful and come fly around where I am working in the garden. They zoom around above my head and seem to be competing against each other as they see who can fly the fastest or dive the deepest. Anyway, fun is had by all! Enjoy your photostudies linked below. And-Enjoy your December!

History[edit]

December, from the Très Riches Heures du duc de Berry
December was originally the tenth month of the year in the Roman calendar until a monthless winter period was divided between January and February. It gets its name from the Latin word "decem" which means tenth. However, when the Romans added January and February to the calendar, it became the twelfth month. The name remained the same however.
