SOMEONE TOLD ME TO GO FLY A KITE, SO I WENT OUTSIDE AND WHISTLED FOR A FEW OF MY FRIENDS (A LOOK AT MY ANGEL KITES PHOTO BLOG)

Hi Everybody!!
Wowie Zowie-If You are a bird lover, do I have a treat for You tonight!!!!! If You are not a bird lover, I hope to inspire You to become one. You know when I first came to Google Earth about 5 years ago, I noticed not too many birds in the sky or flowers on the super highway. So I began to add some great Nature Scenery to Our Google Earth! I have donated over 100,000 photos to the effort!  I love living and working on Google Earth and sharing with all of You and seeing all your stuff. I will always be a newbie, but that's okay. I know enough about computers to create the things I create. I want to encourage all my new friends to enjoy your online experience. Every key stroke is monitored, but that's okay with me. I am comfortable with all my family here and I have nothing to hide! I never sat down before my illness, but if I have to be at a desk, I am happy knowing you are at your desk too and we are all working on Peace and Understanding. Now on with the Show!

What does the phrase go fly a kite mean?

Answer:
  • Drop dead!
  • Go away.
  • Get out of here.
  • Hit the road.
  • Get out of my hair.
  • Go find something else to do.
"Go fly a kite" is an allusion to Benjamin Franklin's famous electricity experiments.
This phrase belongs to group other similarly patterned ironic phrases where the speaker suggests the listener perform a dangerous activity such as flying a kite with full knowledge that the listener may be electrocuted. The listener is meant to infer that he is so unwanted that the speaker would wish him harm.  http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_does_the_phrase_go_fly_a_kite_mean

Black-shouldered Kite

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Black-shouldered Kite (Elanus axillaris) or Australian Black-shouldered Kite is a small raptor found in open habitat throughout Australia and resembles similar species found in Africa, Eurasia and North America, which have in the past also been named as Black-shouldered Kites. Measuring 35–38 cm (13.8–15 in) in length with a wingspan of 80–95 cm (31.5–37.4 in), the adult Black-shouldered Kite is a small and graceful, predominantly pale grey and white, raptor with black shoulders and red eyes. Their primary call is a clear whistle, uttered in flight and while hovering.
Though reported across Australia, they are most common in the south-east and south-west corners of the mainland. Their preferred habitat is open grasslands with scattered trees and they are often seen hunting along roadsides. Like all the elanid kites, it is a specialist predator of rodents, which it hunts singly or in pairs by hovering in mid-air above open land.
Black-shouldered Kites form monogamous pairs, breeding between August and January. The birds engage in aerial courtship displays which involve high circling flight and ritualised feeding mid-air. Three or four eggs are laid and incubated for around thirty days. Chicks are fully fledged within five weeks of hatching and can hunt for mice within a week of leaving the nest. Juveniles disperse widely from the home territory.
